Promotional Video
Video created for Eastern Virginia Medical School’s external digital marquee promoting the Schools’ Instagram channel. This was designed to be viewed by motorists stopped at traffic lights on the corner of a busy intersection facing the building. The marquee’s extreme horizontal aspect ratio provided both design challenges and opportunities. I chose to meld together a series of student life and academic photos using Instagram’s trademark color gradient as a photo overlay. Animating the Instagram logo was a fun way to add motion and serve as a transition between photo shots. The video concludes with a clear CTA that is easy to remember. The evergreen nature of the video could be used across all rotating playlists throughout the year.
